They picked well this year! To be honest, they selected their costumes back in August because they were so excited. We have been counting down to this day! The big sisters also had the privilege of selecting Kensie and Kingston’s costumes, and we are obsessed! I am not sure Kingston loves his 1st Halloween costume… but he looks HOT! HAHA!

Dear January 2020,
You are a welcomed month by all. You bring excitement and realization of a new year and a new beginning. You were a month filled with dreaming and goal-planning, and that in itself is great! After a fabulous holiday break, school and activities are now in full swing and bringing a jam-packed schedule to this new decade. But, as I have said before… Busy is fun!
February, we are so excited for you to add a little sparkle and love to our schedule!

We are so excited to celebrate new beginnings… HELLO to a new decade – Hello 2020!
Take time today to thank God for the blessing of Day 1.Lamentations 3:23 – Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.
Thank you for the beautiful photos La Brisa Photography.
Dear December 2019,
December was just as great as we’d hoped it would be. With all the holiday festivities and Christmas functions, it is a month we will always cherish. We love filling the month with Santa, Christmas decorations, holiday lights and Christmas parties! But, I must say… The best part was our mountain getaway. We were able to sneak away and visit Santa at the North Pole, hung out with friends in the snow, and the girls got to ski for the first time! We are a winter-loving family, so December you are always our favorite!
This December was extra special because our girls are old enough to understand that Jesus’ birth is the true meaning of Christmas, and there is nothing more special than that!
As January brings a new year and a new decade, we are beyond excited to see where 2020 takes our family. We have so much to be thankful for and looking forward to a bright future as the Wodiske Party of 5!

I did it!… I have officially joined the digital world of Amazon Kindle reading and I am a huge fan! Don’t get me wrong… I know there will be times that I miss actually flipping the pages and smelling the paper, but so far I am loving it. Go Team Kindle! And ever since I bought a Kindle, I have been able to fly through Books! It goes everywhere with me and it is filled with all of my favorite titles. Thanks to the convenience of electronic reading, I have some great books to share… I enjoyed these titles and I think you will as well.
So here you go, a good round up of books that you can’t go wrong with! In full disclosure, please know that I adore a Hallmark style love-story with a happy ending, but I am happy to say I branched out a little bit this time around. These books have some unexpected plot twists, surprise endings, in-depth storylines and historical connections… Which I found very intriguing as well. I also read 2 great books that have a Christmas theme – just in time for the holidays!

Dear November 2019,
As always, you were a month filled with thankfulness! We celebrated daddy’s birthday and we soaked up all the fun turkey-day school festivities while preparing for the big family feast! We spent lots of quality family time together as we enjoyed riding bikes around in the amazing cooler and rainy weather that you brought us! We stood as a family and dedicated ourselves to raise Payton and Kensie in a Jesus loving home surrounded by encouragement and support. And we spent a maroon and gold filled day at ASU Homecoming, taking the girls back to where it all began for our family. Wow, it was a special month!
December… we are so excited for you and the special memories you will bring us in this festive month!!

Dear October 2019,
This month was filled with changing weather (It almost feels like fall here!) to school parties and costume events. It was a month filled with fun and, of course, … lots of candy! Did I mention soccer??? With two girls playing we are on the field a lot, but we wouldn’t want it any other way.
As we prepare for November and the grateful-thankful month ahead, we look back with a smile and we look forward with excitement!

They picked well this year! We decided to let the girls select costumes that made them happy! So we jumped on Amazon/Target online and let the girls browse and pick what stood out to them. As an added bonus we let the big sisters select Kensie’s costume, and I am pretty sure she is not thrilled about the head piece. HaHa – The life of the littlest sister!
Dear July 2019,
Besides the heat of the summer, we had a great month! With our last family trip to the mountains for the 4th, we shared the best red, white and blue family time together!
Back to school is no joke! Between meet the teachers (x2) , first days of school (x2), curriculum nights and back to school parties… We are back in the swing of it all. Paisley’s first day of second grade, Payton’s first day of pre-k and Kensie’s first day at home with me… Alone! Wow, all I can say is, time is flying! Haha! And just when I thought nothing else could change, my biggest girl turned 7! What a month July brought.
August, you are already proving to be busy… Here we go!
