Halloween Costumes 2017 : Genie & Butterfly

My girls love playing dress up and make believe, so picking out Halloween costumes every year has become an exciting time for all! This year I took my girls to the store and let their imaginations run wild. I gave them each the opportunity to pick out their favorite costumes and they both picked adorable and creative looks!

My 2.5 year old spotted the Butterfly costume hanging on the wall from over a mile away! (Not really, but it felt like that!) She shrieked “BUTTERFLY” the minute we walked in the door and had her heart set on it. We were done shopping within 30 seconds. Easy peasy! Besides, what little girl doesn’t want to wear a costume with wings????

My 5 year old knew what she wanted pretty quickly, too. She fell for the Disney’s Shimmer and Shine Genie costume, but asked for it in pink. Unfortunately, the costume did not come in pink so instead I let her pick out a genie costume online and thankfully we found the most incredible costume! Seriously, this costume is fabulous and will be the best play costume for years to come!

A SWEET trip down memory lane…
