You Blow Me Away, VALENTINE | Bubble Tutorial

I love making creative Valentine’s Day cards with my daughter. It is a fun way for us to get crafty together and make something sweet for others.  I appreciate any chance I get to teach her to give unto others.  Last year we made Bracelet Valentines and this year we went with a bubble theme.  All things girly over here, of course.  Here is how we made our cute valentines, I hope you enjoy this bubbling-fun Valentine’s Day tutorial!

We found all of our items in the Target Dollar Spot, but you can visit any store’s toy section or craft section to find these items.  We started with the bubble packages and then worked from there.

We also found the most adorable craft paper and pink confetti labels so we thought it would be the perfect bubbly label.  *HINT: All you would need is craft paper, confetti, string and glue if you wanted to make your own.

Once we got home with our goodies, we started by creating a cute label in Word.  Find my free printable HERE.

Since our confetti labels are on craft paper, we also decided to print our labels on craft paper to keep it consistent.

*Here is a trick:  If you don’t have a straight-line paper cutter, print only one layer on the top of the page, and then flip the paper over in the printer and reprint on the same piece of paper, but this time at the bottom of the page.  This tip saves paper and helps you keep straight lines while you cut out your label.

Once you trace and cut out your label, it is time to glue.  My daughter’s favorite part!

Once your labels are glued, you will need to hole punch the top to get the label string to go through both craft paper layers.  Then you will need to re-tie on the string.

Oh these are so fabulous, and I love that they aren’t candy. Fun surprises without the sugar high. I am stealing this idea for my boys next year!

LOVE this! It looks like SO much work, but seems pretty simple- that’s the best! And kids go crazy for bubbles.
