What do you do with all of your leftover Halloween candy… ???
…Make candy-bars, candy-cookies or candy-pies… OF COURSE!
All you need is 1-2 cups of a mixture of your favorite leftover chocolate Halloween candies. This is a smart way of using up the leftover candy in a delicious sweet recipe, so that your candy doesn’t sit in front of you in a bowl begging to be eaten in one sitting!
The recipe is simple. Start by making your favorite cookie dough; plain, sugar, peanut butter, oatmeal or even brownie doughs and before you are about to spread your dough into the pan, fold in your candy.
For thicker bar-like results, cook in an 8×8 or 9×9 square pan or in a circular cake pan. Or you can simply make cookies. Whichever way you bake it, they will be candy-filled fabulousness!
I made the Today.com Halloween Candy Cookie Bars recipe and they were a huge hit with my family.
With the rest of our Halloween candy we are going to make a peanut butter dough candy-filled pie, thanks to this Averie Cooks Peanut Buttter Cookie Pie recipe!!! If you are in a brownie mood check out the fabulous Loaded Candy Bar Brownies recipe over at I Heart Naptime. Yummy!
