[…] This was a fun piece for me to write because I got to be real about how hard being a mom can be, but remembering to embrace the battle and maintain the perspective that the opportunity to be ‘mom’ is a tremendous blessing. This post was born out of the lie that is perpetuated through Facebook every single day: “Life is gloriously awesome at all times of all days… How come your life isn’t?!”  While creating this post, I wanted to encourage moms in their role of “mommy”, and help them understand that REAL mommy life is hard and tiring work… And it ain’t easy, or perfect!… And that’s ok! My prayer was that it would be an encouragement to moms everywhere who might be struggling in the every day grind of mommyhood.
