Take Me Out To The Ball Game – 1st Family Baseball Game

“Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack, I don’t care if I never get back, Let me root, root, root for the home team, If they don’t win it’s a shame. For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out, At the old ball game.”-William Hung

Let me set it up for you… April 4th, 2016 – Opening Day Game 1 – Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies – the amazing open roofed Chase Field. The score… no one needs to know that!  My handsome, baseball-lovin’ hubby holding hands and practically skipping around the stadium with our enthusiastic 3 year old daughter.  Me, walking behind, admiring my two cuties, while baby wearing my sweet, wide-eyed one year old cutie-pie.  Memories I will never forget.

We were so blessed to be gifted with amazing seats that allowed the 4 of us to sit back, relax and enjoy all of the magic of America’s favorite pastime.  It was so much fun teaching the girls different baseball chants and cheers throughout the game, reminding them to always keep their eye on the ball and how fun it is to sing the 7th inning stretch.  Paisley adored the condiment race on the big screen, and honestly Payton just snacked on anything she could get her hands on.  Whether they wanted it or not, we were probably the entertainment for many fans around us.  The girls did amazing, and all I could do was smile.  I was just so happy to be sharing such an amazing and memory-filled night with my family of 4.

For many, it was just game 1 of the season, but to me… it was an incredible night that my family and I won’t soon forget!

What a fun adventure! We went to that stadium years ago when we were down visiting family.
