I am a berry loving girl so I usually find every way possible to add fruit to the meals I make.
While we were on vacation in Idaho we stayed with friends and they introduced us to homemade biscuits and homemade strawberry jam… I WAS IN HEAVEN! It was at that moment that I realized that homemade jam… is my JAM! The day after we got home from Idaho I bought all of the needed ingredients and started making my own jam… and ever since we put jam on just about everything. I will even go so far as to plan our meals around ways to serve it. Obsessed much? Sorry not sorry!
Here is a simple recipe for making jam and believe me it is well worth it! Surprise your loved ones with homemade jam and they will be so impressed that they may even offer to do the dishes!? The amazing taste will make them believe you slaved away in the kitchen all day, when little do they know, it only took you 20 minutes to make and it didn’t even require stove top cooking! Now that is my kinda jam!
Move over donuts… bagels are taking over!
My daughters ask for pink frosted sprinkled donuts just about every morning… welcome to my world. My three year old literally has donuts on her brain constantly, and most days I cant blame her! Running out for donuts EVERY morning is just NOT going to happen… I knew I had to do something about it, so I came up with a more practical and healthy solution. Let me introduce you to my Pink Sprinkled Donut-BAGEL! This sweet recipe is so easy to make and all of the ingredients are easy to keep on hand. Next time your little one requests a donut, surprise them with this donut-bagel!
With the 4th of July just a few days away, I thought it would be fun to share my red, white and blue fruity waffle recipe with you. It is a simple and colorful twist on waffles, that everyone in your family will love! Waffles are made just about every weekend in our home, so knowing that a simple and easy change-up to our regular waffle routine can be done with a splash of color and fun toppings… makes this chef happy!
The recipe is simple and scrumptious, but the key to it all is having fun while cooking!
